Thriving for a better, healthier ME!

Why you ask!? Well here's my personal story. Like many people, I have struggled with my weight, eating habits and exercise routines. And also like many out there I dislike the word "diet", it's such a nasty D word. Now in my 40s it's been harder to lose the weight, and also with my back issues it's been even worse. I long for the days that I could lose ten pounds in a week or two, oh my younger years. I have tried just about all the diet, health programs out there, from weight watchers (lost only 6 lbs before throwing in the towel), ItWorks (lost about 10 and gained back 25), Beachbody (lost 30 pounds, love the Shakeology and exercise programs, but it was getting too expensive.). And yes I was told how much is your health worth to you speech. Of course my health is very important to be but so being able to pay the bills. Don't get me wrong all these programs have helped people succeed physically and financially but not everyone's bodies are the same. The program that worked for me might not work for you. What I have learned throughout the years is that I have to learn to listen to my body, it's going to let me what's working and what's not. Every day I wake up thinking about what I should and shouldn't be eating. I try my best to make the best choices in food but there are times that the temptations win. I finally decided TODAY that enough is enough! I want to lose weight, I want to to be able to feel the difference, I want to see the difference! And why is simple: I want to be healthy for my family, myself and because I want to look like I feel, young.
