I know why I want to be fit and healthy

I just started Stage 3 on the Spark Coach program and the they want to blog about why I want to maintain my weight.
The answer is simple for me. I have three of the most lovable adorable grandsons on the planet. They are 8 1/2, 5 and 3 1/2. I'm 64 1/2 and I can run, jump, climb and keep up with all three of them and I know that is because of my consistent brisk walking habit and my strength program.
I recently blogged about gaining two lbs and how worried I am about it. I feel a little silly because I know so many of my Sparkfriends are struggling with much more weight and illnesses that keep them from being active as much as they want to be. But I have built a strong connection between staying within my maintenance thresholds and being able to keep up with grandsons.If you set a proper goal for why you want to lose weight two pounds can seem like a tragedy. More importantly it can keep you on the straight and narrow towards attaining your goals. So I hope you can understand why I need to nip this in the bud.
