Gut Health Journey - Day 4

I was suffering from autoimmune problems, could literally see the inflammation making me so miserable and was feeling almost as bad as the day I ended up in the ER due to digestive problems. I decided to try this gut health diet...to actually try to feel better by taking probiotics, eating gut healthy foods and trying establish a pattern of this being a lifelong habit and way of life. I started having doubts on the first 2 days due to all of the trips to the restroom and thinking my system would never balance out. I still felt bad and had no energy. Then, on morning 3, I started feeling better. I am still feeling better today, day 4, but gave in to temptation to eat rice krispies treats...considering they were made for me and handed to me by a family member who always tries to sabatoge my weight loss efforts. So, I will keep going. I won't let this stop me but will remind myself every bite of every food is a choice and the choice is mine. I need to do better. I am in control and I can accomplish my goals if I make better choices.

    Good luck, I was where you are 4 years ago. It is worth the effort just to get healthy. Keep at the probiotics, they are a must. I still take mine daily.
