Today's assignment is to list 10 reasons you want to lose weight.
1. I hate clothing shopping and I bought a lot of fun clothes when I hit goal weight. I'd like to wear them again.
What do you want to change?
I want to change how I reward my weight loss. Oftentimes, I find myself having a "treat" because I have seen a change on the scale AND I also find myself hurting my efforts by indulging when I gain weight. So lose weight and celebrate with food OR gain weight and punish myself with more food.
How do you want to look?
I want to look strong and healthy.
How do you want to feel?
I want to feel strong and healthy.
What things will you be able to do in the future with a slimmer, healthier body?
I'm not unable to do anything right now so I'm holding judgement on this question.
And list all the OTHER things that you want to change!
I want to add swimming (shhhh that's a secret). I'm going to learn how to do indoor "rock" climbing. I'm going to do more cycling.
