Results from my Physical
Tuesday, September 27, 2016
I just got back the results from blood work from a physical a couple of months ago. I don't mind sharing the result with you all. When I first started Low Carb dieting, it was really hard to wrap my mind around eating fewer carbs and more fat. I had been raised during an era where we were told that fats will increase risks of heart attacks and kill you. I seriously thought I had a panic attack the first time I started eating whole milk cottage cheese!
After more than 5 years of low carb dieting (mostly low grain, low starch, and no sugar), and eating high quality fats (avocados, coconut oil, olive oil, real butter, whole milk yogurt, nuts, whole eggs, salmon, etc), I can show you proof that I am not killing myself. In fact, I am at low risk of developing many metabolic syndrome diseases that start creeping in at my age in the 40s.
