Where Does My Joy Come From - 10/27/16

Where does my joy come from today.....

... I found out that one of my favorite co-workers has put in her notice. She is going to be the manager of a cosmetic store, something she went to school for and has taught classes in. She is such a wonderful girl, and to see a young woman with such passion follow her dream and make a life for herself makes me so proud. A true Mommy moment :)

.... hubby brought me breakfast in bed from night shift, and then went out into the snow flurries (first of the season) to fill my car tires with air with his compressor, since I mentioned I had never done it, and asked for some hints so I can fill the tires at the gas station. He may be rough around the edges sometimes, but I know he lives to keep us girls safe and happy. Thankful to have found him in that bar 27 years ago. I think I'll keep him.


.....thankful for John (WWWDOTJOHN) to have rallied the team in support of Barb (LADYLUK) to walk 1 virtual mile with her yesterday. This resulted in lots of our Shooting Star team mates to come together to walk with her, and has sparked a plan to train for a 5 mile walk together. I feel the love. Seriously, I am in awe of my team mates. So proud of each and every one of them. GROUP HUG!!
