The War Zone

Have you ever gone to the bathroom and just as you get situated, the phone rings? I know that many of you have had this happen to you.
Well, such was my location today when I heard the Emergency Alert System on the TV. Within a minute I heard a loud boom, shortly after that the lights went out and then came back on.
There is a daily Emergency Broadcast System test on TV. The boom? Squirrels are out gathering food, so I assume one got fried and blew a transformer and that was the boom. I am still alive and thought it would make a funny blog, so here I am about to write this blog, when Boom! another transformer must have blown up! I lost my internet connection with the second Boom!
It is raining here today, my weight is up to 234.8 pounds, but sometimes goes to goal- 231 pounds, in the evening. As long as the numbers are going up and down on the scale, I won't count 231 pounds as my official weight.
I should definitely lose because of the effects of all the explosions going on. Shell shock might send me back into the bathroom, lol! Anyway, I'm off the computer to reset the clock on my electric stove and microwave for the second time today.
Oh, and I need to go across the street and write down the number on the telephone pole. The streetlight has been out since Sunday night. The electric went off Sunday while I was talking to a Spark Friend and my cell phone died at the same time.
My blog is all in fun, but do pray for the people throughout the world that live in war-torn areas. We have so many blessings in the US that we take for granted, and living in peace without bombs and warfare going on daily all around us, is one of them.
