My sugars went out of control before Christmas. Thought I was doing good until we all went out to eat at a buffet. Just tried a few things, sweet potato casserole, one small piece of fudge, and one small piece of rice krispy treats. Sugar went up to 251. Taking a suggestion from a friend, I went and got some cinnamon pills and they have really regulated my levels. Sugar has been between 95-145. Next check on my A1Cs will be 02/17.
In the mean time I am staying within my carb guidelines. Still trying to get with the exercising in.
Also have a book coming in the mail about eating based on you blood type. Found some things in that book that are very interesting. My incorporate these guidelines along with my diabetic guidelines.
Just pray I can get up and start moving more. I just have not found something that is interesting to me especially now that cold weather is moving in.
PS. Saturday, I did walk 1.33 miles. I was a beautiful day.
