The big event for me was the Sasscee Girls Brunch at a local resort. Oh my, there was so much food! I followed my plan and stayed within my calorie allowance- HURRAY! I did have a shooter of chocolate cake for dessert, which is the equivalent of two bites! I enjoyed shrimp, a mussel, an oyster, a shooter of ceviche, one egg benedict, 3 strips of bacon and some fruit and a small cinnamon roll. I passed on the ribs, which smelled divine, and after eating the aforementioned didn't have room for the grill roasted vegetables or corn bread! On the tracker, the calories were ok, but the sodium ARGHH!! So worth it!

This is a picture of the delightful Sasscee Girls. I found a couple of women who are interested in concerts, books and thrifting. I have their phone numbers to schedule activities. I am looking forward to our next meeting, which is a trip to Tombstone to eat lunch at Big Nose Kate's.

Earlier in the week, I took Ringo out for a walk at 5:30 am, and didn't take a flash light- so much for being a good Girl Scout. I did a face plant and now have very tender ribs. They aren't broken, but lifting and deep breathing are very painful. This too shall pass! I say if you are going to be dumb, you better be tough!!
I am steadily going down, having lost 3# so far this month. I have to thank Ringo for having such an active bladder.
He is the perfect dog for me, with the exception of the separation anxiety. I loved the advice my Sparkers gave me and have ordered a crate and a large Kong, the black one so he can't chew it into pieces. I got the Amazon order with his new dog dishes, the 16' training leash, the travel harness, the Kong stuffed moose and the tennis balls. He loved it all, but after everything was unpacked, he grabbed the box and dragged it around the house for the better part of two hours. He seemed to know it was his stuff! LOL.. I can't wait for Christmas! I am baking him some healthy dog treats and I think I have a stocking for him! I need to pull out the Christmas box and take inventory.
But today I promised to declutter my shoes! That is going to be interesting. So far I found one dance shoe- I wonder where the other one is. I have my old garden crocs, no garden, no need for those- LOL. I need to remember- if you don't love it or haven't used it- say goodby to it.
Thanks Maringal for the great tip!
HUGS to all! Be grateful for what you have today!
