I finished my first week - and lost 2#. Hooray for me. I made a first goal easy 3# by Christmas, 4# by NY. Halfway there already so maybe I'll do better but maybe not.
This has been a great community because unlike so many others, it's individual motivation not "motivation out of the box" (Dear God, I HATE that - the folks who "motivate (tapes, books) for money. Motivation comes from within and from your surroundings. The folks on these boards talk about trials too - an I realize how fortunate I am to be me and have some resources and be upright in spite of my trials. A few who actually have similar problems gave me NEW ideas for exercise. Wow. Everyone else including trainers, PT always goes back to the same things they were taught. But you are real folks and you've actually done these exercises successfully or not. That is great.
I have a single complaint and that is the software redundancies. I enter something and have to go through multiple steps if I eat a different amount than "the serving size listed" and when I save to favorites it seldom saves and then when it does, it saves the nutritional serving (i.e., 1 cup when I eat 10 single grapes - half a cup). I have to watch that because it puts me over my calorie limit.
