Hello again, Sparklers! Hope you are staying healthy and happy through the final stretch in the holidays!
Just a quick update. I'm doing great. Still hanging in there and maintaining my weight. My goal is just to maintain. I won't worry about active weight loss until after the New Year. I joined a new gym, and I am swinging by there on my way home from work. Exercise is a great way to end the day, and it helps me unwind.
One of the products they sell at this gym is a metabolic assessment. I paid for a resting metabolic assessment, and an active metabolic assessment. The resting metabolic assessment will tell me what my *real* RMR is, not estimated based on online calculators. Similarly, the active metabolic assessment will tell me what my real heart rate max is, and the optimal cardio zone levels I should be working out in, and for how long.
I'm excited about these tests. I am doing the active metabolic assessment today. I'll report back on my results and what I learn!
