Looking Forward

I love the week between Christmas and New Years. It's generally a very relaxing week. I get some cleaning done, I get some extra sleep, and I evaluate the past year and contemplate the coming year.
Does the year change really make a difference? No, not really. It is just a continuation of days in a row, however, the activities of our lives have seasons, and the new year does happen to have it's own season. Christmas is over, and we are looking forward to the next stage of our lives. We repent of the heavy foods that are prevalent at family gatherings where we may have chosen to eat the favorite foods that we don't eat the rest of the year. In many places, the snow fall is the heaviest and it gives a fresh look to the world. Is it any wonder that we choose a fresh start at this time?
I have learned that I like routine, and without it I really do flounder and waste time and energy. I love having a routine that is set in stone, and I simply have to show up and follow the plan.
In 2017 I will reach my goal of a 70 lbs weight loss. (20 lbs to go)
In 2017 I will continue to strengthen my core by continuing my crossfit workouts 3x a week
In 2017 I will continue to learn to dance. Zumba 2-3x a week
In 2017 I will eat more salads and less fast food.
In 2017 I will declutter and reorganize my house, one room at a time
In 2017 I will tackle projects that I have been avoiding (namely my address files)
In 2017 I will learn to prepare ahead for the times when I have less control over my schedule
In 2017 I will break down my yearly goals into monthly plans
In 2017 I will be the best me that I can be!
