The extra walking that I've been doing the last two weeks has made my calves ache but I grocery shopped today without back pain!!!!! I didn't have to stop and lean over to stretch out my back once and I didn't have to stop to just stand and rest for a few minutes. I was so tired earlier that I took a nap and slept longer than I had planned. I was worried that between laying down so long and shopping that I would end up in pain before I got home. I don't know if my making myself walk more every day is the reason I had pain free shopping or not, but It's the only new thing that I'm doing so I'm giving it credit. Feeling positive about it helping me will help me keep at it on days I don't want to move. My calves stopped aching about halfway through the store and just started aching a little a few minutes ago. No knots, just a dull ache. My knees don't ache at all, so I can deal with minor calf aches. Eventually they will get used to the extra walking and stop aching.
