Once again I'm grateful for SparkPeople. I read a blog about setting goals and they talked about fitness goals being one of the best ways to lose. Set a goal to get faster, more steps, lift more, stretch more or anything that you don't do well and want to improve. It is such a good way to get healthier and such a better goal than focusing on the scale that is so capricious. Even better, when you accomplish that fitness goal you can always make it a new one that's bigger faster or longer, heavier or whatever. Sometimes you know these things but you just need another push in the right direction.

I'm going to run during my very brisk walk at least 10% of the time. Wish me luck!

    Good post. Good idea--often times we get blindsided by the scale or we are brought down by the scale. If we can go a few more seconds, a few more steps, a few more ounces, WE WIN!
