Gratitude 2/17/2017

I had my annual physical this AM, I checked out pretty much okay. I have been going to the same doctor for 20 years and I really like her. I am so grateful that I found someone who really gets me. She is up on every study. I can ask any question and get a plausible answer. She always explains things to me and takes the time to really find out what ails me. Usually, it's nothing. I am an incredibly healthy 65-year-old but she is so far away from where I live and work and traffic is getting so heavy around here.

Next year on medicare I already have a closer more hooked together medical service called the Palo Alto medical foundation (PAMF) that I am eyeing. Leaving my current Dr. will be difficult but this new place has a geriatrics group and specialists for my eye issues and a bunch of other things and they are within walking distance of my house. It is a conundrum!
