a Fake Storm!

I guess some people got it, but we got nearly nothing, and at the most, it was over by a.m. It took me less than 5 min. to clear the slush from the driveway, and it was more like playing in the mud, except it was all water... very spring like.. think it is +6c out
Well, blood sugar this a.m. was 5.5... that was a surprise, but lest I get overconfident thinking I don't really have diabetes, or I have changed my diet enough that I don't have to worry about it any more, I checked at the 2 hrs. point and I was at 14.2!!! So much for that!
Breakfast - hot choc latte, ham, cheese and pickle sandwich - yogurt and blackberries and I had a pretzel and chocolate cluster (only 4 g sugar, 6g carb.... 53 cal.) doesn't seem like it should do all that damage... must go post my food and see if I can figure out what happened...
Massage at 1:15, guess I don't have to worry about b.s. going low, but will take a nut granola bar for security and I know they have juice boxes and chocolate squares at the therapists...in case of emergency!!!
I guess that is the biggest problem with insulin is that you can't predict or know what is going to happen and you just have to be prepared at all times for the unexpected. dextrose tabs or juice boxes at the ready.
That seems to be the biggest change I have made in my diet that I now will have a bite, or I do have small sizes, ie. mini bars etc. and one bite is enough! ...
Woooo! 533 cal... and 62 carbs... didn't see that coming, I thought I was pretty near right on with my estimating, better start tracking again!!
