It's sounds so simple. And trust me I understand better then anyone just how hard it is to stick to it.
But think about it? If your eating when your not hungry, then chances are,you are abusing food and using it as coping tool. If your not stopping when your full, you are most likely feeling addicted to the comfort food brings.
Food is a just food. It's put in your body to bring you energy.
I promise, if you want to lose weight, just follow the simple yet effect rule. Eat when your hungry, stop when you full.
Day 1 I started small. I tracked everything I ate. I noticed instantly, I was eating WAY more then I should have.
Day 2 I started to try to pay closer attention to my body. I really didn't know what it felt like to be content and not stuffed. So I ate my food, tracked my calories, and tried my best to stop when I felt full.
I was shocked to notice, I wasn't starving after and felt content without feeling stuffed.
Day 3 I really got the hang of things. I was eating only when hungry, and not letting the time of day effect when I ate my meals. I now was practicing eating only when was hungry. I would of course not wait till my stomach was growling, since that led to binges for me.
It took me 3 days to really try and understand this new concept to me... and I'm only week 3 now and 6lbs down.
I made a group for myself to track things better. It's called "Eat When Hungry, Stop when Full" feel free to join me! I would LOVE to chat with other and encourage each other to a healthier life!
