I am so frustrated - I have no clue what I am doing so wrong. I have been tracking my foods, tracking my exercise - honest, yes, some days I do go over in calories; I get my steps in each day - lately I have started aquafit twice a week - I keep myself busy.

But nothing is happening - I am gaining weight.. I cringe everytime I look at the scale.

Each week I try to make sure I get my veggies and fruit in - I do find that hard but .. I work on it; today, I hit a new high... its not a good day today :( I have never been this heavy in my life.

I have been to the doctor to see a nutritionist - I found her extremely unhelpful - I was to bring in 3 days of food logs - she didn't even look; she made suggestions without asking questions - so frustrating.

I am just not sure where to turn next. emoticon

We've all been there - plus great advice from all these folks... emoticon
Change up the foods you're eating...
Drink water - or try herbal teas(works for me pre-dinner).
Weigh & measure.. I measure/package things in advance so I don't need to do lots at meal time.
    Track everything
Make a veggie soup - all veggies; Easy way to get your veggies in & a great snack, too.

Just last month, very late in my weight loss, I finally signed up for Spark Premium. It's another thing that helps focus on strategies. I'm doing the 90 day Diet/lose weight(I'm on day 20). It's helping me now and I wish I did it earlier. The daily Spark Coach is like a couple workbook pages plus a 3 minute video daily - but only takes about 10 minutes... Wish I had heard more about it earlier.... They have 3 programs...
    1) Diet/Lose weight/healthy lifestyle (90 days coaching)
    2) Plateau busting (28 days coaching)
    3) Consistency & motivation (ongoing)

I am going through this frustration right now! I hear ya! I maintained my weight loss for over four years and lately, I've been siting just above it. I'm working on getting back to the basics that helped me lose the weight.

Are you reading labels? Are you eating one serving or two? Do you look at sodium counts? I'm getting back into labels and seeing I have been guessing incorrectly.

Are you eating the same foods? Same freggies? Have you tried any new ones? Any new recipes?

Different types of workouts? I got used to the same workouts so I'm trying new things here and there. The weather is finally nicer here with longer daily hours so there will be more running soon.

I haven't tried a nutritionist yet. The least she could have done was look at your logs!

    Don't give up on yourself!

Wow. Been there. Perhaps you are missing a vitamin or maybe you are building more new muscle or perhaps you are retaining water. Those might be things to look for. I know the frustration, ot is so easy to put on weight, why is it so hard to take it o

If I log my exercise here, I don't lose weight. I log my exercise in a notebook. That has helped me. I'm down 40 lbs. Don't give up.

You might be going over in calories more than you think. I know from personal experience that if I eat too much I can exercise for a couple of hours every day and still gain weight. You might try tracking for a week and staying in your calorie range.

Don't give up. Keep making healthy decisions while you search for the answer. I am also a non-loser. Very frustrating. In the meantime, while awaiting the scale number to go down, I'm still keeping my body healthier and more fit. Have a good day.
