IN A RUT

I feel like I am in a rut with my weight loss goals. It seems no matter how much I watch my eating or how much I walk and exercise, I am in a weight loss rut. I am thinking of changing my furniture around this week as my new windows and door came in today. I am hoping the people who are doing the installation calls me today to schedule when they will put them in and I will change my furniture around as I am tired of looking at the same pictures day after day and I think I need a change. I also need to get back to swimming as I enjoy it so much and maybe it will help me get out of the rut that I feel like I am into right now. Does anyone else ever feel like they are in a rut? I had my hip replaced in January and I feel like I need to get it stronger as all of the exercise I am currently doing on here is making me stronger, but I am getting impatient that it is not getting stronger as quickly as I would like, so I feel my exercise and my diet are both in a rut. I eat too many of the same things daily, so I need to change up my eating and my exercise to get out of this rut I am in as quickly as possible. With the beginning of the new month of May, I am definitely going to make some changes and get out of this rut!

    Sometimes I find that I get that 'in a rut' feeling just before I make a change - just can't see it coming until it arrives! I hope you get Sparked in a good way.

    I sorry you are in a rut. I can happen so easily. You'Re gonna have to take charge and make yourself do it..try doing your exercises in opposite order. It's up to you to explore what's around you. A new hobby. I know you'Re bored-make your own excitement. It dosen't have to be a big thing. How about writting down all the things you have lessened about life and.life's lessons and passing it along to someone younger so they can learn. Thing long and hard about this rut cuz you gotta climb out of it. Good luck. Marcey

    When I am in a rut I search the web or sparkpeople for topics on dieting techniques or new exercises. Sometimes I go to the library and check out a motivational diet book. I may not do the diet perfectly or at all but at least I get some ideas on trying new things.

    Sometimes a change is needed when you feel you have gotten stuck in a rut. Maybe small changes in food and exercise are just what you need. I'm looking forward to all the changes that I am sure will come your way.

    its the time of year where the farmers markets are starting. Try changing things up a little. Try some new foods. They say that our taste buds change every 7 years. So, maybe its time to wake them up
