I had started an old but effective workout box set of dvds I've had laying around for two years from Beachbody, but couldn't access at least four of the main workouts due to there being scratches on the dvds and skipping over major sections when I try to workout to them. I'm now waiting on Amazon to deliver my disc scratch fix kit in the mail to repair them. I tried all the home remedies on Pinterest and YouTube to try and fix them, toothpaste, deodorant, peanut butter and so on but didn't want my new DVD player tucked up with all that junk. Anyways it would only repair them for one play each time.
I've been on Sparkpeople since mid march when my doctors put me on a Heart Healthy Diet and I needed to lose the weight my antidepressant helped me unnecessarily gain last Fall. Going from a size six to a 14 is drastic body shape change and income(new clothes). So far I've lost about 10 pounds which is a combo of tracking everything and exercising a lot more than I did last year. After completing my first 21 day challenge I started it again, now and it's Blog Day.
I'm great full my health is better, I had amazingly great lab work done at my doctors last month, cholesterol levels are terrific and my blood pressure is normal and my formally rapid resting pulse rate is coming down to a normal lower pulse rate.
Thanks everyone who's been encouraging me to stay on track and congratulating my baby steps successes along the way!
UPDATE: my DVD scratch repair kit didn't work at all! It was a maxwell brand and o only bought it because it had worked in the past on movies and music cds. Oh well. I'm down 16 pounds now but kinda got stuck last week or two after making a Paula Dean recipe for banana pudding and woke up in the middle of the night craving it like crazy! I put two pounds back on that week but I'm minding the calories better now!
