My daughter and her husband sent me a gift from ProFlowers. I didn't feel well all day because of IBS which started overnight and continued throughout the day. I didn't go shopping today for a dress for the wedding. I slept on and off. Hubby told me that I had a box on the kitchen table.
I just phoned my daughter and her husband in Wyoming and thanked them for the gift. The box had flowers, plant food, chocolates, body creme and bath tea in it. I gave the chocolates to my husband. I ate them all last year, but they are very rich and he is not a diabetic like me. The flowers are in a vase, a jar came with them which is peach colored on the bottom half and milk white on the top half. The stems of the flowers were too long for the jar. I told a friend from church about the jar. She paints jars and puts artificial flowers in them and then finds a reusable container to put the jars in and gives them as gifts.
We had cod and French style green beans for dinner. My husband hates fish. My mother used to buy fish and cut it into squares and bake it with paprika, salt and pepper. She used margarine and I have switched to butter so we put butter on the fillets which were very thick. My husband said he really liked the fish. That is good because it would be beneficial to me to have fish more often.
At the end of the day, I am grateful for these blessings and to know that I am loved. I like the idea of the painted jars and that is a craft that would sell. I was surprised that they had a picture of the jar on ProFlowers. I am waiting for the flowers to get their first drink since being shipped and to see what they look like. The buds were closed and some have opened and are a lily. Since they haven't opened yet, I am thinking they are Mother's Day Spectacular under Lilies at the ProFlowers site.
Flowers make me smile.

Consider The Lilies
Consider the lilies they don’t toil nor spin
And there’s not a king with more splendor than them
Consider the sparrow they don’t plant or sow
But they’re fed by the Master who watches them grow
We have a Heavenly Father above
With eyes full of mercy
And a heart full of love
He really cares when Your head is bowed low
Consider the lilies and then you will know
May I introduce you to this friend of mine
Who hangs out the stars
Tells the sun when to shine
And kisses the flowers each morning with dew
But He’s not too busy to care about you. Chorus...
