Ranking my eating...

As a part of sparkcoach today I am supposed to rank my eating on a scale of 1 to 10. Well I tend to be an all or nothing person with food. Either end of the scale, either great or awful. My goal now is to find that balance, healthy food with the occasional treat will hopefully help me hover around the 7-8 range instead of binges that send me spiralling backwards. Planning ahead for these treats will hopefully help.

Next weekend will be my first big test, dinner at Texas Roadhouse. So I am going to fall back on a few basic tricks. First I will check out the website this week. Second I will plan what I want to do with the leftovers. There it is usually set aside half of my chicken for a salad. Some steak and potato chopped up in scrambled eggs is always good. The key for me is visualizing those leftover meals so that I want them as much as the main meal. That way I make sure to have the leftovers boxed.

Again I am rambling, and eventually will find the settings so my endless rambles don't show up. For now, thanks for putting up with it 😊
