To Eat or Not to Eat

Last night I mindlessly thought of helping myself to some apple cobbler. But since I am in my focused state, I caught myself.
For years I kept losing and putting on the same three pounds. I would stick to a plan for a month or so and then convince myself I didn't care about my weight so why not enjoy a few goodies now and then. Then I was back to my old habit of mindlessly eating whatever and whenever I felt I wanted something.
Yesterday was the first time that I decided not to have some goodie simply because I wasn't hungry. Boy that felt good! Nothing taste as good as being satisfied.
