It's the little things

So, last Friday I got up and showered for work. As I was reaching for my towel, my back completely froze up. I couldn't move, I couldn't breathe. I had to call in sick. I was so upset that I ate my way through the day--besides taking massive pain killers, using a thermal care patch and my asthma medicine 4x. I even made mac and cheese--the homemade kind I haven't done in years. I was going for comfort food.
That one day cost me. I had been at 26lbs down, but gained 2 back. So, my doctor's appt. had me at 24lbs lost. She's still very happy with my progress and how good my blood pressure is now.
Yesterday my boss asked me to change a sign in the window of the store. This has always been a challenge because they stack 24 packs of soda in front of the sign and you have to get to it sideways. This means that you have to manage to squeeze through between a pole and a security barrier. I've had to use a ladder in the past to get over that point. I no longer have to do that! I actually fit between them!!!
And, as of this morning I'm back to 26lbs lost. Praise God!
