I will be on the watch for my craving for carob chips, which are one of few foods remaining in my larder that are sweet-tooth friendly

yeah i sugar binged thru the holiday. at one point a day or two ago, i was questioning my total lack of sugar-free integrity. why am i doing this with sugar (it was a mass of cookies, gingerbread, sugar, etc)?

i decided i was still getting the sugar endorphins. well i have heard of that

i never felt sick or nauseous although i ate too many at a time

cool thing though the apple or other fruit i eat really "hits the spot" like sugar can't anymore

sugar is a demon to be exercised. because it is in evry storebought food ever made ever. emoticon

sugar is simply immediately stored in the body. it is not used for energy when I eat it. emoticon

cravings are not hunger. hunger does cause a loss of control, but cravings are not hunger. emoticon

satiety is self-control. satisfaction not gratification. emoticon

about 15g sugar per serving is really too much for 1 meal

it's like corn flakes with 1-2-3-4 spoons of sugar emoticon

wow bunch of fruit, it's the season. leaving out my storebought granola. I feel sorry for my granola now it has too much sugar in it.

cravings can be beaten if i wait them out a few minutes. noticed after several months practice quitting sugar snacking that if i see a craving then i can wait for it to diminish

today will skip my breakfast food granola just to pass the craving test, also will use the unsweetened nondairy milk. i have the original flavor because i wanted to try it, but i buy the unsweetened for obvious reason.

will try to skip all food with added sugar today. so breakfast was leftovers rice and veggies

no carob chips eaten entire challenge so far. i mix up almonds raisins and carob chips as snacks

satiety vs self-control = hunger causes a loss of self-control, satiety allows self-control

but cravings are not caused by hunger?

have known for long time that whole grain carbs are best. I have begun to agree that carbs come with a crash that includes irritability and headache

timidly concede to self I might need to make my granola, because what I buy might be loaded with sugar. I buy at the bulk section and I read the ingredients but I buy the one that sounds good or that I already like. sugar is not a main ingredient but the granola is really sweet

wondering how much sugar was used in the bulk granola i bought, i ate a carrot and grapes. this was the food in my work lunch. i did crave the celery i had but did not eat it at the time.
