Weekends are for Cravings

Ok, so I had a second night when the cravings hit big time. Again, I'd already eaten most of my calories for the day. And it was the same craving - toast or crackers or chips. I did end up having one piece of toast with a little butter and it put me about 50 calories over my limit. I could have had much more! Not sure if my craving was satisfied, but this time I wasn't able to stare it down like last weekend.
I'm going to start looking for patterns, and try to figure of what my craving triggers are. Also, is my body telling me it needs something in particular, since I was craving the same thing both times? Is it salt? Fiber? Certain vitamins?
I think part of it is that I'm busy during the week right now, even in the evenings, so on the nights when I have time to sit and relax, the cravings hit. I'm not bored, but it could just be that the change in activity level is triggering something.
I just started the 30 day fiber challenge. It will be interesting to see if getting more fiber helps.
At least I'm being mindful of all this now, and not just blindly eating until I'm overstuffed and miserable!
