It's my belief that FOOD is your main focus... NOT exercise... do not beat yourselves up if you can't do so much exercising... get your food in check and the rest will follow.

Take baby steps.. and if there are days you don't wanna... then DON'T!!!!

    You are so very right about the exercise portion of the equation. It's really not supposed to be the dominate change that you make it's the food. It's about what to eat, what not to eat, how much and if there are any food allergies working against you. I once followed a the carbohydrate addicts diet and lost 50 lbs with out any additional exercise. I kept it off over three years but then I finally became tired of following all their very specific rules and went back to eating like I used to. You can imagine how that went. LOL So now my big focus is on eating in a way that I can live with while addressing what turned out for me a bunch of very significant food allergies. It has worked for me but I admit it is still a work in progress. I've lost 60 but need to lose another 30 to 40 to be at normal for my height size range. I'm still in fear of the backslide. This time I've included a weekly 10K with a walking group but I'm working at home now and so sit for a lot of my day. Like I said it's a work in progress.

    I love your blogs.....honest advice is what you offer. Food tracking and some form of clean eating will
    give most people a strong base. Once that becomes your new "normal"then start looking at the addition
    of an exercise plan. One day at a time ...one step at a time. emoticon emoticon
