A day out and about was good for me.

Friday, July 28, 2017

I felt pretty good this morning so I did drive around to 4 fabric stores. I got rows and blocks and some fabric. I really need to stop buying fabric.

I did discover something else. Many of the stores hand out treats during this shop hop. So twice I got a little goody bag filled with nice candies to suck on. They were all seperately wrapped but I noticed that when I was sucking on something I didn't cough while I was driving. It is also hard to cough hard and drive. So I used those nice little treats to get me thru the day. I also drank 3 bottles of water while I was out.

I'm pretty tired tonight but I also did treat myself to some nice meat market meat when I drove thru one little town. I happen to really like the meat at this market so when I'm in that area I stop there.

I think I'll stay home tomorrow and work on the quilts for the girls. I did buy all the backing for their quilts today so I can start quilting the rows. I still need more doggy fabric for the dog row. But I'll get it later this week.

As far as eating went it was a good day for that. I did buy summer sausage at the meat market so I nibbled on that on the way home too. But then I finished off the last rib and the end of the roasted carrots. So food all around was pretty good.

Always good to get out! Being home alone too much is a downer on positivity.

So glad you were able to get out to the quilt stores! You get so much joy from being creative, and the rows and blocks they have provide new challenges for you. Can't wait to see how the grandkid quilts turn out!

Lol, I love looking at the quilts at our quilt museum. I've wanted to go to the annual quilt show but never could get off work. Now I need someone to go with me and drive so I have forgotten about it. Have fun

On top of that cold you have developed a quilt fabric addiction!!! This is serious! You can't pass a quilt shop without stopping and buying more fabric!!! There will be rows and rows of quilt pieces coming out of your doors and windows as your addiction worsens!!! Although it pains me I am afraid I will have to report your behavior to the proper authorities. Your picture will be sent to quilt shops far and wide with a warning: Do not sell fabric to this woman! She is suffering from fabric addiction!!!

She may be tired tonight, but she will be back on the road tomorrow looking for even more quilt fabric!!!

Take care and sleep well. emoticon You will need all of your strength to carry all of that fabric into the house! emoticon emoticon emoticon
