Rededicating Myself to my goals!

Ive been kind of lax this summer about my eating so now that vacation is over I have decided to get back to my good eating habits.And I also need to find a way to approach vacations by planning ahead on what tI am going to eat and sticking to it..Too many big meals and yummy snacks make it difficult to feel comfortable.

Exercise has been coming along very well and I never have 1o worry about getting it in.I miss it when I don't do it.

But now food that is a different story....it's always in your face and after all you do have to eat.it.

So starting tomorrow I am going to start writing down everything I eat! I have tried this before but always fail!!!!! I'm also going to try to do a little more Sparking each day.

I really want to lose about 10 or 15 lbs.And the time to start is NOW! emoticon

    You got this no worries. It sounds like you just need to track. Sometimes we find we eat more than we think if we do track everything.

    Best wishes to you! I really believe tracking food gets easier with practice. I wish sticking to my food plan was as easy as sticking to my fitness plan!

    emoticon Yes, you can!! I've had to drastically change how I eat because of my recent diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes. I've become very picky about the kind of carbs I eat now!! But, I've brought my blood sugar from 403 on 5/1/17 to an average of 112 on 7/28/17, so I know that it IS possible!!

    Sounds like a great plan, Dottee. emoticon The past few weeks I have been careful about my food portions and trying to eat only healthy foods. It was tough the first couple days, but, much easier now. emoticon emoticon emoticon Yay for meeting your daily steps goal! emoticon emoticon

    You can do it. Vacations and changes in schedules or venues are hard on habits. And in eight days we develop new ones some good and some bad. You can do this! Put a little notepad by your place at the table and sit for each meal. Take another and put it in you purse so you always have it with you, put it with your wallet. then when you eat something it's there, and when you come home copy it into the main book at the table...date each entry.
