Finished the 3rd section but it was a long day

Friday, August 11, 2017

Well the bat has not left my house to feed yet as of last night. So tonight even if he comes down I've already closed off the bedroom so I can have some peace. At least I know that he can't come back in once he leaves. And don't ask me how I know it's a he because I don't I just don't want any bat babies so it's a HE.

I did go finish that 3rd section today but it took a lot longer than I thought. Mostly because it took me so long to get going this morning. My hair appt. is at 9:30 so I made it on time to that but forgot to put in my dentures. At least we all had a good laugh about my brain not functioning too good. So before I went to the post office I came home for my teeth...but when I got back in the car instead of heading for the post office I took off for town. Turn around go pick up my package from my daughter and stop at the bank to deposit a check that was in the mail...then go to town. Pick up my pain med prescription at the clinic go to Walmart to get it filled and pick up the other to refills and do some shopping. I was out of water to drink along with cat litter. Very important items..

Now about noon I'm finally on my way to the last 6 quilt shops. I hit the last one with about 10 min. to spare and I was by then 3 hours from home. But it's all done and turned in and I'm happy I set a goal and met it.

Tomorrows plan is to make 2 pillow cases for some great nephews I'll be having lunch with on Sun. and maybe even bake them some cookies. I also need to put the 2 boxes of stuff my niece asked for from my mom's apt. That will eliminate a bunch of stuff sitting in my front hall. YEA.

That was a lot of money to pay the pest control guy, and the bat is still in the house! Oh my! Well hopefully HE will leave soon.

Sounds like you have a busy schedule as usual, but I'm glad you got to visit the quilt shops because I know that it makes you so happy!

I'm also happy that you shared some of your mom's stuff with your niece. I still have some of my mom's stuff in my basement, and I don't have anyone to give it to, yet! Although I will have a granddaughter going off to college in a couple of years!

Hope you got your pillowcases made for the little ones!
