Switching things up a bit

I've been at a stand still with weight loss for a while and it's frustrating. I'm logging my food and tracking my fitness but still the scale won't move. I signed up for SparkPeople Premium and emailed a Spark Coach to get a better insight to what's preventing me from losing weight. The coach was able to look at my food and fitness tracking and noticed that my fitbit (Force) could possibly be giving me a higher calorie burn for my pedometer steps than is accurate. Kinda funny because I always thought it was high but relied on the technology to be accurate. I've disconnected my fitbit from tracking steps/calorie burn and will now just focus on calories that I've consumed and see how that helps. However, I'm still going to wear my fitbit to track my steps.
On another note, I'm also going to try and incorporate mindful eating in to my life. www.healthline.com/nutri
I will listen to my body and eat when it's hungry (almost hungry) not just because the clock says it's time to eat. I'll still log my food but just be more mindful of eating foods that satisfy and using the 80/20 rule. Eat until 80% full.
Here goes another week - wish me luck.
