It's Eclipse Day

Monday, August 21, 2017

Today I will be at the VA for a doctor's appointment with DH during the peak of the eclipse. The office has no windows to see out of....but DH set the DVR to record it.
If I were still in Georgia, I think it will be darker. According to the map here in Florida I don't think it will be complete, so we will probably look a little like dusk.

I just finished a 2.5 mile walk around the neighborhood and I'm feeling pretty good about that! emoticon emoticon

Now on to some serious house cleaning...burning calories from those cinnamon pancakes I had for breakfast... emoticon emoticon

Florida will get an 80% coverage for the Eclipse. I too have a Dr appt today, at 1:15, with the eclipse due at 2:30 I hope to be out by then. My area is in the 90% coverage area, good enough for me - plus NASA and other sites will be live streaming,,, emoticon

Reedski, thanks for the info on the 3 min limit on the glasses - I didn't know this! emoticon emoticon

I'm off to burn calories, too. We have viweing glasses for the eclipse but even wearing them you can only look at the sun for 3 minutes.
