Sparkcoach wants three goals

I have an awful sweet tooth. I find it hard to pass by my admin's desk within taking a Reese's mini or York peppermint patty. Sometimes it gets so bad a buy a whole candy bar on my way past the vending machine. So my first goal for this month is

*No candy

The next goal has to do with improving my sleep. I will be in bed every night by 10:30 and I will make sure that I don't have coffee after 12:00 noon.

*No coffee after 12:00 noon.

My last goal for this month is to drink 64 ounces of water every day. This should be much easier since I'm almost there already but guess those one or two days that are left are going to be hard.

These three goals are active through the end of October. If they work out, I'll see if I can extend it to November. I'll try to track it all in this blog.

    Great goals - good luck with all of them. My biggest challenge would be the sleep goal - sleep and me aren't very good friends. So I think maybe I should work on that myself!

    I once read that if you drink at least of your water by noon, you will have no problem reaching your water drinking goal. It works for me.

    Those three goals are personal to you, that's why they can work. After awhile, the resistance muscle does get stronger, as does every muscle when you use it.

    The first would be very hard for me......I can pass up the treats most of the time, but every once in a while?

    Excellent goals. Every time you pass the admin's desk and see the candy, imagine all of the sugar, fat and chemicals that go into making them. That's how I weaned myself off fast food restaurants.

    Keep trying till you find what works for you.

    I do know what you mean about food that's just out there. Hard to resist. That's why I'm trying the Beck Solution to be stronger than the give-in impulse.
