So, I was gone for 9 days vacation. When I say gone I mean just off Spark and fitbit aps, doing my own thing, not tracking and heck not even doing extra exercising, but I was sort of watching what I ate.
We had more of a staycation. I did have to go to a funeral the first day about 2 hours away so that was alot of sitting. The next 3 days we spent at the county fair watching my husbands family show animals, and took my granddaughter. Walked a bit with her but nothing to brag about. Friday was the Aquarium.
Did not eat as much as in previous years. Still had a couple sandwiches, beef fajita and my deep fried oreos...but all in the space of 3 days, not 1 :) Had pizza on the way home from Aquarium, lots of pizza. Then Saturday was just me and hubby day, we went out for steak. Over all I gained almost 2 pounds in 9 days.
It was a miracle, lol I was so happy when I got off that scale after not weighing myself the whole time. This Monday I was back at it and as of this morning I have lost that 2 pounds plus 2 more. I've raked in over 40,000 steps so far in 3 days. (Haven't done anything yet today). Been to the gym twice, both really good work outs. Put in a little extra effort at work, walking around quickly, processing orders.
I'm happy today with my progress. I know everyone has their ups and downs during this, Lord knows I have, but I just wanted to share the positive since I haven't blogged in about a month.
I started this about 7-8 years ago and I started at over 400 pounds. Today I reach my lowest weight I had of 292, a tie with about 2 years ago...then I gained 50+ pounds. So since May I've taken it back off. (-57#s)
Today we battle downward into new territory.
