I love the 5% challenges

I've been a member of the seasonal 5% challenges for years now. I believe they helped me to get to my goal weight and keep me there. Everyone tracks fitness, weight and living the good life (LTGL) points that include tracking your food, drinking water and stuff like that. There is a different one every week. They really keep you accountable. I credit my dear friend Jonnie (Jazzejr) for getting me involved.
These challenges just keep getting better and better. They have optionally started collecting NSVs by letting you track measurements (optionally) too. Another great thing that started recently is badges I got three of them last week which was week one.
I got this badge because I exercised both days over the weekend and tracked it
I got this one because I posted activity every day all week
And I got this one because I drank at least 64 oz of water every day and tracked it. It was the living the good life activity for week one.
A while ago they decided to track the previous week and the new LTGL activity for each week so we had to
A. Track our weight on Saturday
B. Post our activity minutes each day
C. Track last week's LTGL drinking water and this week's LTGL which was tracking our food.
I love Sparkpeople
So much. It's the best way to lose weight and to keep it off I know of.
