421.49 to GO- Week TWO of walk RUN walk

Quick pic from our cool down tonight. Sunday I headed out to the lake and had only enough time to walk 2.69 miles. (stopped on my way home between grocery shopping & dinner). Today, Monday- met Jim at the lake for a quick workout- we got in 3.34 miles in 1 hour ten minutes. Not very speedy by any account, but not as bad as it looks. We got stopped by a camper and questioned about where is this, where is that... how far to town, why are the showers not on.... and also a potty break or two without pausing the app- so all in all probably a lot better than it looks. Our max speed was 6.4 moving along. Average speed, even with the stops and being apparently park rangers, was 2.9 mph. So, I'm going to take that as overall an improvement.
We are signed up for the Turkey Trot in Madison, so that is plenty motivation to keep working out. The bad news is that I have two VERY busy weeks ahead of me and this is going to be a challenge to get this house whipped into shape, me continued workouts, take care of all the horses, cook meals and homeschool the kids... OH and edit a large photoshoot and deal with ongoing orders, WISH ME LUCK FOLKS>>>> cuz I'm gonna NEED IT>>>>>
(by the way, the workout is feeling great, heart rate was between 73-156, there was a hill)
Intervals today were 10 sec run/ 30 sec walk for 16 minutes, next workout calls for 19 min.
