My 5 lb motivator.......

Her name is Patience, and she makes sure I go on long walks whether I feel like it or not. She's in love with life, and her enthusiasm is contagious. There have been days I wasn't happy, and she changed that with her crazy antics, running and leaping through the living room, making silly sounds.



She knows me so well I think she can read my mind. I can't tell you how many times she has come to me, insisting I let her lay in my lap. And when I did I felt comforted and loved. She knows when bedtime is and she comes and gets me when I am late. lol

Of course I have many good, tried and true friends. And I am so very grateful for them. But the friendship she and I have together is precious to me too.

She came into my life because some one had dumped her in the woods near my house. I was on my walk and out she popped, and she followed me home. She was filthy and I bathed her, cleaned her up and took her to the vet. You might say we rescued each other. She needed a home, and I needed a loyal friend.

In my eyes, she is living proof that God will meet all my needs, even before I know what those needs are.

I am ever so grateful that He sent her to me.
