Somedays, even though I get enough sleep, I'm still exhausted. Today is like that. My husband and I have a deal, if we haven't reached our step goal we'll walk together in the evening. My husband plays vintage softball on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. He also plays basketball on Friday. I walk every day but sometimes the system breaks down. He had a bye this Thursday so no softball.
I had no idea what I wanted to make for supper. I called home to tell my husband and he had a thought of thinly sliced potatoes and onions roasted. I thought of honey mustard chicken. We had both with baked beans. Not a very low-calorie meal but it is all healthy. Potatoes and onions came from the CSA. Vitamin C, B6, lots of fiber, magnesium, and antioxidants and I had my 7 freggies before dinner yesterday. Anyway, when I headed home I had over 13,000 steps due to my 3/4 mile hike from my car every morning, my lunchtime walk and my hike back to the car but Mike needed steps so off we both went around two large blocks in our neighborhood. I ended up with over 17,000 steps and fitbit says 126 minutes of activity. It is record-breakingly hot here and walking is a trial so I'm truly dragging today.
