Tips and Tricks # 1: Once

Monday, October 30, 2017

Tips and tricks to help me stay on track, lose this weight and maintain and sustain a healthy lifestyle. I have a new knee (I wonder how long I will refer to this knee as new! It is new as of June 23rd.) My biggest challenge is the concept of once. I will only eat too much once. What can it hurt? It is only once. However, this rationalization happens more than once. I go over my calories range more than once! So yes it does affect my weight loss! No more rationalizing. Think before you bite it! I can do this and stay within my calorie range and lose this weight and not find it again!

Good for you! I read on a successful Sparker's page that she was losing her weight by staying under her calorie limit. That made sense to me so I've adopted it. It works.
I kept referring to my hip as my bad hip. Doc reminded me I don't have a bad hip anymore. I've had both replaced. Now I refer to my shoulders as my bad shoulder and my really bad shoulder.

We are all just human, new knee or not. ;D
Looking at our patterns and learning to change those are so important and your blog points that out.
    Wishing you continued success.

We are all guilty of this. My important 1st is to slow down. At times I actually have to move my plate away. We will succeed. As long as we are aware and keep working we will succeed.
