It's a wonder I survived yesterday

Saturday, November 11, 2017

I was in bed by 10 last night and although the dog had other ideas several times during the night I stayed in bed almost 13 hours. I knew I was tired but that is weird for me.

Tried to do an experiment on my embroidery machine and messed up a needle and couldn't get it back together. So I took a break from that and decided laundry might be a good idea. These crazy appliances with the computers in them...my washing machine is giving me an error message. On Monday I'll have to call the fix it guy to see what the message means.

So then I took to the sewing machine and started making one of the snowmen I got yesterday. I got it all together. It's waiting for it's buttons, batting and backing so that will be done tomorrow. After I go to town because I really need a humidifier in this house. My nose is so dry it's hard to breath and it has nothing to do with my asthma.

Made a beautiful batch of hamburger soup including cabbage today so will have some meals thru the week with lots of veggies. We all know how much I like (hate) my veggies. Even had some fruit and a piece of pumpkin bread (no butter). A really good balanced food day.
Now if I could find my pedometer again I'd be in good shape.

I got a Fitbit from one of the kids as a gift, and it has been a lifesaver. I used to wear a pedometer and I was forever leaving it in a pocket or finding it in the laundry!

Some days are trying with things that go wrong and things that the computer part of them is not making sense. Glad your snowman went together for you, some salvation for the day. Have a wonderful Sunday.
