Sewing might just be my salvation next month.

Tuesday, November 14, 2017

I was busy all morning puttuing one of the snowmen together and binding it. It turned out really cute but with the terribly cloudy day there was no way I could sew on the buttons. So I made myself some lunch and went back to finish a second one. Now it needs some buttons too.

This evening I tried doing some crochet for a little while one of my SIL's wants a crochet nativity set that her grandkids can play with. So I better get busy with that.

When I'm not busy my mind is playing weird games on me. I know I go thru this every holiday season like this but I shall live thru this one too. But busy is the best bet so I don't have time to fall into the blah's.

Looking forward to lunch out tomorrow and then block on Thurs. I have 3 nice things for show and tell. There might even be 4 if I get the last snowman finished.

Good for you for being proactive and intentional in figuring out how you can combat any "blahs" your brain wants to get stuck on over the holiday season! It needs retraining, and you're just the person to tackle it!

Staying busy does help with not having to sit and think about anything else but what your working on. With projects you need to get done--think you will be doing fine next month with being busy.

Sounds like you're staying busy. I've been busy with multiple genealogy projects...new info on lines, updated my tree on geni.com and such. Plus baking for my 2nd cookbook. Staying busy is my salvation
