Starting a new streak

Things have been out of control for over 2 weeks now. I have been ill and we just figured out that my chest pain is from my very, very high blood pressure and not my heart. I haven't been able to exercise due to my first to, arthritis, and disc disease. Pain levels running about 9 of maximum of 10. The pain doc changed my pain meds hoping to get me back in gear.
Orders were to take it slow and easy. I am returning to the Y tomorrow for water aerobics. Will use the therapy pool first then go into the regular pool. I will see how this works out.
Using heat and rest on entire back hoping to decrease the pain levels.
My blood glucose are out of control too, but that is all my fault. Holidays arrived as well as my birthday. Ate foods I knew I wasn't to have but did anyway. That extra step necessary on my monitor has me really off kilter. I keep forgetting to get the 4-6 glucose checks each day in. My insurance wont cover the freestyle strips. This is what is necessary for the monitor for my pump. They only cover One touch. I still have a copay close to 25.00 each month, but it is better than 196.00 for 50 strips. I just have to really get my head on straight and remember.
My stress levels are stupid and not helping at all. Mitchell has been sick from the chemo and his white count is low. He had blood transfusions and then platelets. He is home from the hospital now, but gets another round of chemo this week.
Stephanie has gone to her dad, and now we all have no idea where we will stand in this slot.
Wade is doing well, and growing normally. Still don't know where things stand with the babies mom. We just have to wait it out.
All my boys are doing the best they can. Billy and Sonja are waiting for test results, and Daniel is working at getting his disability. Sam is doing well but still overseas. Can't wait for him to get home.
I think we need a journal on this site instead of just the blog.
That's it for now. I'm starting a new streak and hope to keep things going forward.
