Some things are just better left to MEN

Friday, December 01, 2017

This morning my furnace filters arrived via FedEx. I had no problem installing the one for the humidifier but the one for the furnace I just couldn't get it together. So I called the more local dealer (instead of an internet site) and asked if I had to get a new filter today or could wait for them to send me one. They are shipping it on Mon. I just hope I'll be able to figure it out without having to call my handyman to come install my filter. By the time I was done fussing around with the furnace I discovered it was after 2 and I hadn't even eaten yet today.

So I fixed myself some lunch and sat down for an hour. When I got up to go back to my sewing machine I found I had a very sore knee. I think it might have something to do with the 5 trips up and down the basement steps trying to figure this out. I'm still sore but I did manage to finish the blocks for the baby quilt. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get it together. Then I'm going to have to clean off the table in my sewing room before I can put the backing onto it.
Even managed a small dinner with my sweet potatoes. Late this afternoon I found another package sitting by my car. Peabody was out and chases delivery men so I've told them to just sit the packages out there and I'll get them. This one was my new pedometer since I can't find my old one. This little project took me 2 hours on the computer to get it synced to my phone and SP. Some days I just wish I had that man to do things I just don't always understand.
Tomorrow I'll get my hair done early and then I need to go to the Home Depot type store to pick up some little knobs for the feet on my little pin cushion. I'll see if I have enough energy to also go to Walmart and get some of my favorite water. If I don't find any energy left I'll just have to live with what I have here. Oh and then I remembered I have to go to the Walmart closer to me because I had some drugs refilled and they are ready. Full day tomorrow.

I am so grateful my hubby takes care of all the new things that need to be added into the computer and sparks. we just recently got Garmin trackers and sure glad he knows what to do. If it wasn't for him I probably would go without some of the new tech things.

I know what you mean about having an "expert" to tackle the jobs that are tough to figure out. I throw up my hands when it comes to computer issues and call tech support (also known as DH, thank goodness!).
