Ahhhh I needed a day of doing my stuff..

Friday, December 08, 2017

I started 2 more Rudolf place mats today. Have 2 squares done for each one. Then I cleaned off the cutting table so I can put the quilt together and I even folded some laundry. I like walking into my kitchen with the counters all cleared off and things put away. It is nice to see that. Maybe tomorrow I'll get to the floor again.

I also played on my computer a lot today. I play an On-line roll playing game and it's time for their holiday stuff going on. I always enjoy what they call Frostfell. There is even a sort of Santa that gives you a gift every day. But you can only get one a day.

Of course being home my food was a lot better. I made a turkey pot pie but used biscuits for the top. Just threw the gravy and some frozen veggies in it and baked it until it was warm. It was good too. Will get a couple of more meals out of it. The poor dog is still feeling the effects of the tranquilizers from yesterday. Going out isn't as much fun when you don'g have your fur coat anymore.

Looking forward to another good day at home tomorrow. Maybe I can get the other squares for the place mats done. Then I could start the Santa ones.

Your turkey pot pie sounds yummy, may have to try making one of these days. More than likely with chicken instead of turkey. You have been busy today, have fun sewing again tomorrow. Hope it warms up for your dog since he is missing a good majority of fur after his haircut yesterday.

You are always busy making your beautiful creations. It pays off because the people that receive them get so much pleasure from them.

Turkey pie sounds good and it is a healthy food with lost of veggies.

What a cheerful happy blog you have tonight! Poor Mr. Peabody! Our Milo needs his hair cut too, but my Filipino husband doesn't want him to be cold!

I hope you have a great day tomorrow doing what you enjoy!
