Ready to stroll the beach.

This is a photo of me and my DD Michelle ready to stroll the beach with our birds. My DD has a Blue and Gold Macaw named Sassy and I have an Umbrella Cockatoo named Oliver.
I say stroll because we like to share the birds with those that are interested while walking the beach. I get more walking time because I can walk on ahead for a bit, then walk back to where my DD is letting people take photo's with Sassy the Macaw. DD even takes photo's with other peoples camera's or has taken photo's with her own camera and forwarded the photo's to where people want them sent. Sometimes there are very small children that are brave enough to want Sassy to set on their arm. My DD has to assist a little by holding their hand. I love that she is willing to share her bird like this. It contributes to great memories of their vacation on the beach.
I would love to share Oliver like this as well, but he has gotten a little temperamental. I am a little afraid he might bite someone and I don't want to take any chances of that happening. However, sometimes he does talk to someone, but he picks and chooses when that happens. Sometimes he gets very entertaining and dances and sings. Oliver is such a hoot when he decides to do these things, but I do have people keep their distance.
I have GF's that Oliver cuddle's with. I seriously thinks he does this to make me jealous. Oliver got upset with me years ago and he is still holding a grudge, so we somewhat have a love/hate relationship. Oliver will let me put his birdie diaper on, because he knows he will have to stay home if he don't. He lets me clip and file his nails too.
Oliver has his own FB Page "Oliver Ollie Bird". My cousin laughed at that, because at one time Oliver had more friends than I did. I might have his page opened to the publix...not sure.
Anyway all three of us ladies that were out walking the beach yesterday have physical disabilities. I think mine is mostly because of ole age, but I refuse to sit in a rocker. My legs seem to want to stop working, but I refuse to give up. It was the first time all week I got my 10,000 daily steps in. It was uncomfortable, but I had fun doing it.
We are wishing many great Blessings on all of our Spark Friends for 2018. MA
