As I often do on Friday's - it's Sweet Potato Friday lunch time! Full of fiber, full of flavor - it's one of my favorite lunches!
Would you believe there is vegetarian bacon and a 1/2 a cup of cottage cheese on there? It's buried under all of that broccoli!
First Crossfit after Christmas last night was HARD. I dedicated it to the day when I ate three Christmas cookies and the day I ate leftover mashed potatoes and macaroni for not one, but two different meals while laying around on the couch!

Luckily, according to my last weigh in for the year I only gained a lb and a half over the holiday season! And I'm still under 130 lbs for the year! I've only been over 130 one time this year - and that was one of my first weigh in's of 2017 in January!
Tonight I head back to Crossfit. I'm contemplating going tomorrow too. I've been taking extra steps all day today as well. (walking my office while my lunch heats up, taking extra steps around the house while I get ready, etc) No need to wait on the new year to start dedicating myself to those goals! Speaking of which - any thoughts on what I should do for my monthly goal for January?
Keep your eyes on me the next few weeks as I'm photo documenting DH's new herb garden. He's been talking about those AeroGardens for a few months now so I got him one for Christmas. He started it up last night so today is Day #1 of indoor herbs! The 6 little domes each cover a different herb. We have two kinds of basil, parsley, thyme, mint, and dill! You fill the water and nutrients every 2 weeks and it does the rest! I'm excited to see what happens! (I really didn't get why he wanted this thing but now I'm really excited!)
