Health and Fitness Goals for January 2018

A brand new year!
Last month's goals were pretty simple. How'd I do?
* Run one VR
* Maintain
I ran the Virtual Race as planned, so that worked out well. I think I actually lost a little ground, both in weight and fitness, but not enough that it's daunting. I'm going to call that one a success as well.
That means it's time to set a goal for this month.
* Start training plan to increase 5K speed. (I'm pretty much using Cto5K, though with staged speed increases on the treadmill.)
* Add simple strength training.
* Cut back on sugar and treats.
The second one will be difficult, especially with all the left-over holiday candy. All the same, I'm going to focus on not just eating all of them right away :)
