Whole Food Plant Based Diet?

I have been trying for years to lose weight and have been unsuccessful because I ate too many empty calories. I have always known that eating real food was the answer but always found excuses why I couldn't do it.

I have given up trying to lose weight and am focusing on eating healthy. I will start with small steps and will celebrate each one.

    That's a great choice. 2 years ago I stopped eating meat and making more whole food choices and was able to lose 50 pounds in a year. I hope to move more and more towards a whole food plant based diet by cutting back (or completely out) the diary. I only eat about 2 eggs a week as well. I really think that it is the healthiest way to eat. Its been a great journey, and I found that I felt better even before the weight came off.
