Time to get back on track

Oh, my! It's been a long time since my last blog. It's been a long time since I was serious about taking better care of myself. I have no excuses.

Last year I was good until the end of November and then I spiraled out of control. Too much food. Not enough exercise. Oh, I made my step goal of 12,000 steps every day, but some days it was a push.

Well, now it's time to get back on track. I have increased my step goal by 250 steps. (It's baby steps.) My children gave me two month to Orangetheory Fitness to jump start my motivation to workout. I am tracking my food which shows me that I am not eating proper meals. Time to start searching healthy recipes. I have begun using Sparks recipes again.

Since the first of the year I have lost .3 pound. It may be a little but once again I am taking baby steps. I have 13.7 more pounds to lose before my son's wedding in March or 2019. One to two pounds a month should be doable.

I will keep you updated as to my progress.
