Looking at the positive, not negative

Ughhhh, I had a snack attack this evening and ate half a bag of tortilla chips. 👎🏻 but my only saving grace is that I had a lot of extra calories today and so technically, I stayed within my calories (although, I was trying not to eat my exercise calories but that didn’t happen)
BUT, I’m not gonna focus on that. I’m gonna focus on the fact that I actually got some exercise calories today!! Not sure I can even remember when the last time I exercised was so, I’m calling today a win.
I’m headed in the right direction:
1) I got a great workout in today!
2) Drank well over my 8 glasses of water
3) Logged all my food
I have a bad habit of not logging my food when I think I’ve gone over my calorie range or when I’ve veered off course so I’m really proud that I followed through and actually logged everything...even though I didn’t feel great about what I ate. AND, I ended up staying within my calorie range so that’s just an added bonus.
This is a marathon, not a sprint so I’m just really glad that I’m healthier today than I was yesterday. I may not be the healthiest person (yet) but I’m headed in the right direction!
